is professor of hydrobiology in the Biology Department of Middle East Technical University (Ankara). Her team has been studying the impacts of climate change and land use on the dynamics of shallow lakes through monitoring, mesocosm experiments and modeling.



is associate professor of biology at the University of Lausanne (Lausanne). His team studies the selective forces that currently act on vertebrates, e.g. the effects of human activities in interaction with natural and sexual selection. He is also interested in the evolution of cooperation in conflict situations.



is currently professor at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Moscow). His team is studying molecular features specific to humans, through integrative analysis of genetic, transcriptomic and metabolomic data measured in modern and archaic humans, as well as closely related mammalian species.
